Positive Psychology for Engineers

In this workshop you'll explore the building blocks of happiness, including the connection between happiness and productivity, creativity, resilience and engagement.?You'll learn how to hack your neurochemistry to help you to reduce stress anywhere, anytime, even right before an exam!

The target audience for this workshop is undergraduate students. However, all conference attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Bio: Robin?Sacks is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering at the University of Toronto where she teaches happiness, love and play to future engineers. She served as the Director of Research for the Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering. She has traveled the world sharing the findings from her research in an effort to help professionals develop people skills alongside their technical education.?Sacks is the founder and director of The Happy Engineer Summer Camp, which brings grown-up campers out of the office and into the wilderness for professional development and self-discovery adventures.? She is also a founding member of Peace Games International, Peace by PEACE Canada, and Rotman's I-Think Program. She lives in the forest with her partner Mike and their four children.
